What an opportunity to see the true meaning of Christmas: a beautiful outdoor, living nativity with a real-life stable, and real, live people dressed as Mary, Joseph, the wise men, and the shepherds, and even a star way up high on a pole. \ This past Saturday evening, Dec. 9th, a living nativity was enacted at the red shed beside the library outside of Washington, Va.
This was the 29th year that the Rappahannock Charge of United Methodist Churches, which consists of Willis Chapel, Sperryville and Flint Hill have organized and performed this event. They 6re currently served by Pastor Leah Delong. The living nativity is very peaceful and beautiful and is a real reminder of Miat Christmas is really all about.
