Since 1964, SCORE, "Counselors to America's Small Business," has assisted more than 7.5 million entrepreneurs and small business owners through free counseling and business workshops. More than 10,500 volunteer business counselors in 389 chapters serve their communities through entrepreneur education dedicated to the formation, growth and success of small businesses.
Feedback
There are two columns that I have written that have generated the most feedback. The first was the column about tourism and the second was about my Thanksgiving with my mother. One direct result of the former is that the Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission (Planning District 9), regional initiative on tourism promotion, has now recruited some of our local folks to join that group to sit with our current representative. The latter seemed to touch the hearts of several people who are, or who have been, caretakers for aging parents. I was touched deeply by the responses from those who contacted me.
