I am very sorry to say that our problem is not local, regional, or merely statewide—it is a national problem. No one solution can rid us of this plague that is festering throughout this country, and I definitely think a solution is not going to come from the school administrators. I would think if school administrators were the least bit enthused in their profession (and I use the word ‘profession’ sarcastically) this problem would have been curtailed or well attended to by the entrance in the fourth grade.
