Patrick O’Connell and Reinhart Lynch, proprietors of The Inn at Little Washington, filed a bill of complaint in Rappahannock Circuit Court on Monday, March 5. By the action, they seek to expedite sale of the building in which their restaurant is located.

According to the bill, Lynch and O’Connell have an option to buy the Country Store property under the terms of a lease agreement with Louise Sagalyn and Peter Labovitz, dated April 1, 1977.

Lynch and O’Connell alledge in their suit that Mrs. Sagalyn has refused to go to settlement after being presented with duly signed and notarized sales agreements on January 1, January 23 and February 27, 1979.
