Scouts Speak
On Trek
Three Rappahannock Girl Scouts of Troop 502, Lynn Jones, Wendy Helmer and Shannon Streagle, will present a program on their Wyoming trek last August at the March meeting of the Culpeper Minutemen Chapter DAR. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 13 at the home of Cmdr. Josephine Chelf USN NC Ret. in Culpeper with Miss Margaret Muter of Flint Hill as co-hostess.
The young ladies were part of a specially selected group of thirty one scouts and four adult leaders from the Shenandoah Area Council who travelled to the Girl Scout National Center West in Ten Sleep, Wyoming for a two-week trek, camping and white water raft trip on the Snake River.
