Weekend guests in the Quaintance home were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stout of Penn State. Mr. and Mrs. James Littlepage of Washington, D. C. were callers Saturday and Capt. and Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer, Nicole, Heidi and Jonathan of Germany who are visiting her parents, spent Monday and Tuesday with friends in Reston. ,
Kathy Dwyer of Eastern Mennonite College, Harrisonburg spent last week with her mother, Mrs. Ruby Dwyer and sons. She left Saturday for Lebanon, Pa. where she has accepted a position with Phil Haven Hospital. Mrs. J. R. Shade of Falls Church was a visitor from Wednesday to Saturday of her sister, Mrs. Dwyer. Other guests last week were Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gagner of Springfield and Kenneth Shade of Charlottesville.
Walter Jenkins has been transferred from Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville to a nursing home in Williamsburg.
Peachy Moncure Lyne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Lyne of Warrenton, spent last Friday with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. James Swindler returned home Monday following surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D. C. Jimmy Swindler was host at a birthday dinner Saturday at the Diamond Head near Manassas in honor of his grandmother, Mrs. Lee Swindler.
Mrs. Mabel Deal and Ivan joined by Mrs. Carroll Deal of Woodville were visitors Saturday night of Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Kent in Manassas. Accompanied by Bobby Jenkins of Manassas Sunday, they were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Entsminger in Falls Church. Jeffrey Deal spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. James Deal and Daniel in Culpeper.
