Do the members of the school board believe that by keeping these children uneducated that the children will become less of a burden to society?
Evidently, the school board members do not participate in any special education programs. Neither are they aware of the progress that these children have or have not made.
It should be a requirement for each member of the board to attend at least one or two sessions so that they will understand the purpose and use of these educational programs rather than just knowing the name before they pass judgement upon the programs and the students.
Placing the value of the dollar before the education of children is far from reducing the “burden of society.’’
