or the fourth year, the Rapidan River Chapter of Trout Unlimited will host the “KIDS DAY” fishing project on the opening day of Trout Season, Saturday April 7.
At that time chapter members invite children age 12 and under to “go fishing” with them on a 3/4 mile section of the Rose River near Syria. David Myers, President of the Rapidan River Chapter, says that “again this year, as we have for the past three, we look forward to having the young angler;; join us to open the trout season.” The rules are the same; youngsters can bring their parents or another adult along, but only the kids can do the fishing.
