Racing over fences moves to Berryville Saturday for the Blue Ridge Hunt Point-To-Point meet, and a good field has been entered for these races.
Pair racing begins the day at 10 a.m. at Woodley Farm with competition for optimum and fast time. The course will be about 2 Vt miles over natural hunting country.
Seven hunt races fill the rest of the day’s card, beginning at lp.m,
“We are very optimistic for a good meet,” said Pete Dunning, racing secretary for the Blue Ridge Hunt. “The weather has given us a break over the last few days, the mountains have protected us from the wind and rain.
