Currently, access to the three fields from Route 211 is over a 20 foot-right-ofway. Mrs. Stuart told the supervisors that she will donate 20 additional feet tb widen the right-of-way to 40 feet, providing enough room for two vehicles to pass.
Unfair Treatment
Two weeks ago, zoning administrator David Konick brought the special exception request before the Planning Commission for a recommendation. Konick explained then (and repeated his explanation at Monday’s meeting) that the special exception is required for two reasons: (1) the eight acre lot created by the proposed subdivision would not have road frontage required by the ordinance and (2) the three acre lot retained by Mrs. Stuart would violate the subdivision regulation that requires all lots under five acres to be served by public water and sewer.
