RCES administrators are already making plans for next year’s crop of kindergarten children. And principal Maggie Piper plans to register those youngsters on March 20-21.
To enroll in the fall kindergarten class, children must be five years old by December 31 of this year. State law requires registration of all eligible children, according to Piper. Parents wishing to defer kindergarten tor a year must submit a written request.
