Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bruce of Front Royal were guests Sunday evening of Mrs. Nina B. Brown.
The Administrative Board of the United Methodist Church met with Mrs. Lee Swindler last Monday evening. Those attending were the Rev. Merlin Shorb, Mrs. James Swindler, Mrs. Jimmy Wayland, Mrs. Virginia Lewis, Hugh Chrisman. Mrs. Tom Klatko, Julian Brown, Mrs. Nina B. Brown, Mrs. Roy Swindler, Mrs. Catherine Brown, and Mrs. Ranny Aylor.
Dr. and Mrs. Larry Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md. were weekend guests of Mrs. Catherine Brown and visited relatives in Luray.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Coates of Blacksburg and Mrs. John Coates of Brightwood were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers.
Chief and Mrs. Paul West and Chief Steve Bedell of Virginia Beach were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Holland. Joshua West who had been visiting his grandparents returned home with them. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Downer of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Burke of Washington were additional dinner guests last Thursday evening.
Mrs. Frances Tabler recently was an overnight guest of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marcey and family in Falls Church and attended the Arlington Bridge Club. She spent a few days last week in Culpeper Memorial Hospital undergoing tests.
