Teachers, administrators and staff members at the high school all wore red and ^hite carnations Friday but aot because they were part of any wedding party.
The flowers were gifts from the student government on “Teacher Appreciation Day.”
Sporting his flower on his lapel, principal Bob Chappell was pleased that
te merited appreciation long with the teachers. ♦‘It’s a really super nice thing to do,” he said, noting that he had never heard of Btudents in any other school System doing likewise. 1 .Tokens of teacher appropriation included not only carnations, but also steak dinners, Chappell said.
