Jackson Wells, a landowner on the back entrance to the ball field lot from Route 642, said he is not opposed to the ball club. “I know the Ruritans are a good organization.” But he maintained the narrow 18 foot roadway just 30 feet from his kitchen is not adequate to handle traffic.
Mrs. Stuart explained that the right-of-way to the rear of the property Wells referred to is much too long for the Ruritans to feasibly maintain and therefore is not intended to be used as access for the ball fields.
