The youth fishing project is a joint venture between the owner of the land that borders the Rose River, the Rapidan River Chapter of Trout Unlimited and the Virginia Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries. Chapter members suggest that young anglers should bring light freshwater fishing tackle and consider using salmon eggs, cheese balls or worms for bait.
