Mrs. Carrie Xenia Smith, 91, of Trinity Manor, , Huntly, died on Sunday, February 26, 1984, at her ■ residence.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at the St. Peter Catholic Mission in Washington by the Rev. Maurice duCastillon. Burial was in St. Peter’s Catholic Church cemetery at Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.

Bom in Keyser, West Virginia on September 12, 1892, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Emily Drake Rice. She was married to the late Clyde Gregory Smith and was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Mission.

Surviving are a daughter, Clydetta E. Lynn of Trinity Manor; a brother, John H. Rice of Keyser; one sister, Mary E. Rice, also of Keyser; three grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wakefield School at Huntly.
