Rappahannock's annual community Lenten series will begin Wednesday, March 14, and continue each Wednesday thereafter through April 11.
Parishoners from Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington Baptist Church, Reynolds Memorial Church, St. Peters Catholic Church and the Rappahannock Charge of the United Methodist Church will gather at Trinity in Washington for a pot-luck supper beginning at 6:15 p.m. each night. A program celebrating: the Lenten pilgrimage will follow at 7 p.m.
This year’s programs will be geared for the entire family from children as young as eight years oldIt
promises to be a time of fellowship, fun, worship and celebration. All are invited to bring a dish and share in this community event. A nursery for small children will be provided.
