The Rappahannock supervisors got a preview of budget requests for 1984-85 at their meeting on Monday as the superintendent of schools unveiled a $750,000 expansion and remodeling project for the county high school.

Superintendent Robert East Estabrook presented drawings recently returned by the architect hired for the high school’s capital outlay project. To meet the space needs outlined by school administrators, the architect has proposed a $750,000 project that includes:

—a p re-engineered metal gymnasium faced with brick eight feet high on all sides with an auditorium that seats roughly half the school’s enrollment or 225 students.

—expanded library and cafeteria,

—bathroom facilities for the handicapped.
