Torrential rains didn’t spoil the Easter egg hunt for 2 year old Brandy Knighting last Sunday as she cheerftilly, skipped around the house of her grandparents, Roy Lee & Martha Knighting, discovering all the colorfiil, dyed eggs that were hidden especially for her. Brandy received cheers from her parents, Allan and Kathy Knighting, as well as her aunt Debra Knighting of Castleton, aunt Ann Kerns of Castleton, aunt Mae Kenney of Richardsville, and her favorite, cousins Mike & Gloria who watched T. V. between eggs.
The dreary, downpour didn’t bother 3V4 year old Ashleigh Cannon either, as she woke her parents, Jimmy and Marty Cannon, Sunday morning and exclaimed, “You won’t believe it! You just won’t believe it!” Ashleigh’s been stuffing the goodies in her mouth ever since. Later on Sunday, Marty and Jimmy took a rainy ride over the ice covered mountain (yes, ice covered) toward Luray and had a delicious, homecooked lunch at the Brookside Restaurant.
