Seventeen members of the Rappahannock County Garden Club eiyoyed a trip to Agecroft Hall in Richmond. The Manor House was originally built in Lancashire, England in the" latter part of the 15th Century. This Tudor Manor House destined for destruction in 1926 was purchased by T.O. Williams, Jr. of Richmond.
The house was taken apart piece by piece, crated and brought to Richmond where it’s present site is on the banks of the James River. There are beautiful flower gardens and a well
