The relay squads had an outstanding afternoon, proving that they deserve the title of “fast four” earned by Kim Williams, Cristol Porter, Raynetta Gheen and Katheryn Davis over the past two track seasons for their blue ribbon performances in the 400 and 800. In the 400, 1983 grads Porter and Williams have been replaced by Kelly Bristol and Shannon Watton. And the foursome is still winning, taking first over Page with a time of 58.5 seconds. In the 800, Davis, Watton and Gheen teamed with Annie Tuppar for another first, finishing in 2:05.
Rappahannock’s relay sweep was completed in the mile as Ann Oliver, Denice Eidson, Tupper and Bristol won in 5:13.
