Fife is past president of The Charlottesville Housing Improvement Program (CHIP), which aided local residents with low incomes to remain in or purchase their homes. “Charlottesville is considered an ‘All American City* because of this,” Fife said.
“I think it’s time we send someone to Congress who has been a local politician,” Fife said. “I have been in the place where federal programs have been received. I think it will be good to elect someone who has this experience.”
