and Marie Davis throwing 28’8V4”. Then Davis tossed the discus 8T11” for a blue. Nancy Frye, battling a wind that had just picked up, took second in that event with 68’1”.
In the hurdles, it was Kelly Bristol in front, clearing the obstacles in 18.8 seconds, with Anita DelGrosso right on her heels in 19.2 for second place. Katheryn Davis broke the tape in the 100 yard dash in 14.2. Roz Cook took second in the 200 in 30.9 seconds.
Another blue went to Ann Oliver for her 2:57.5 run in the 800 while Denice Eidson added a red ribbon to her collection with a 1:13 finish for second place in the 400.
Distance runners Karen Ludwick and Marie Roemer finished one-two in the mile and again in the two mile. Ludwick’s times were 7 minutes and 14:27; Roemer’s 8 minutes and 15:31.
Gheen continued to show her versatility in the field as well as on the track with a first place leap of 14’6” in the long jump.
