Candidates debate

on public TV

Candidates for beutenant governor and for attorney general will debate the issues Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. on WVPT, public television.

The first half of the 90-minute program will feature beutenant governor candidates L. Douglas Wilder and John H. Chichester. The final portion of the program wib feature candidates for attorney general, Mary Sue Terry and William R. O’Brien.

The candidates wib each be afforded 15 minutes to present their views.

Two other parts in the series of “Campaign ’86” wib air Oct. 28 and Nov. 4 at 7 p.m.

In the November program the candidates wib be offered 30 minutes ~ _ to express th<>ir views and positions ' oh the issues surrounding the campaign.
