In accordance with Section 15.1-431 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, the Rappahannock County Planning Commission and the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors will hold a joint public hearing on Monday, October 7, 1985 at 7:30 o’clock P.M. in the auditorium of the Rappahannock Elementary School, Route 211, Washington, Virginia.
The purpose .of the meeting is for the Planning Commission to discuss the adoption of the proposed Zoning Ordinance and for the Board of Supervisors to consider passage of the proposed Zoning Ordinance. The Ordinance, as proposed, would accomplish a comprehensive rezoning of all property in Rappahannock County.
The aforesaid ordinance is available for purchase in the Rappahannock County Treasurer’s Office and for public examination at the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. All persons affected by the Ordinance may appear at this hearing to present their views.
This notice is being published in the Rappahannock News, a newspaper of general circulation in the County of Rappahannock, Virginia for two (2) successive weeks as required by the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended.
