A cookout was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest on Sunday to honor the birthday of Mrs. Vest and as a going away party for Mrs. Crystal Werner and son Joshua, who will leave Saturday to join her husband in West Germany.
The party was given by Mrs. Vest’s daughters, Renee Calisto and Crystal Werner.
Their guests included Mr. and Mrs. Russell Nicholson and Shane, Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Nicholson of Cedarville, Rodney Vest and Patsy Vest of Woodville, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bowers and Phoebe Pierson of Amissville, Missy Dennis of Castleton, Kathy Hudson, Christine Vest, David Calisto and Lynn Atkins.
Mrs. Ruth Grimsley returned home Sunday from Conway, Mass., where she has been visiting her sister Mrs. Lois Bancroft for six weeks.
