Through contact with U.Va. professors,
he decided to attend graduate school in Charlottesville. “They were interested in advocacy planning and rural planning. I just sort of fell into it,” he said, of U.Va.’s master’s program in urban and environmental planning.
He learned of Rappahannock and the position here from Rosser Payne and others who had worked in the county.
Currently, he’s employed by the Albemarle County’s Department of Planning. Previously, he worked with Capitol Hill Associates, assisting in the planning and development of property in Arlington County’s METRO corridor and with Reston
