Committee, with the cooperation of the Historical Society. This work is to be financed by private contributions made to the Historical Society, earmarked for this project, as outlined last week in the Rappahannock News. The society offers its services and resources to organizations and individuals planning restoration or renovation of the county’s rich heritage of old homes and buildings, public buildings and towns.
Officers for the 1986-87 society year were also elected at the meeting: Rex Lindstrom president, W. Jack Brown vice-president, Mrs. Esther Kidwell secretary, Mrs. Mary Updike treasurer. Others on the executive committee are Mrs. Lucia Kilby, membership chairman, Mrs. Helen Holschuh, historian, and Mrs. Cathryn Knuepfer, librarian and projects chairman.
