Harold Frazier of Culpeper spent last week with his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier on Rt. 615.

We offer our deepest sympathy to the family of Chester Fannon Sr. who died Friday.

The community welcomes the Christopher Hertzer family of Luray, who have moved to the Frazier homeplace.

Mrs. Emily Durant of The Hill is a patient in the Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Words and thoughts of sympathy are extended to Mrs. Barbara Caudill of the Boston-Reva route on the passing of her father, William Fewell of Amiss ville, who died last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier Jr. and son Michael Wayne visited Mr. Frazier’s niece and family, Mr. and Mrs. James L. Knick in Oxon Hill, Md., Friday afternoon.

It might be of interest to some of our readers to know that Mrs. Howard Jenkins, a former resident, is a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital, having suffered a major stroke May 14 at her home near Culpeper.

Mr. and Mrs. James F. Nicholson were surprised with a party at their home on Rt. 615 Saturday evening in honor of their 28th wedding anniversary.Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Nickie Meredith and sons Eric and Joshua, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Meredith and daughter Jessica of Leon, Miss Cindy Nicholson and Monty Hutt, all local.
