The Rappahannock County Elementary School’s Student-ParentTeacher Association has always been an organization dedicated to support and enhancement of the work of the school. This year was no exception.
SPTA president Cindy Andreoni summarized her feelings about this year’s association: “We not only accomplished what we set out to do, but went far beyond our original goals.”
“It has been a great pleasure for me to work with the many people who have given of their hearts, minds and valuable time to assist RCES. I wish to thank all of these people. In particular, I want to thank Judy Tole, our vice president, who also produced and distributed the thousands of notices we sent out this year, Edie Clark, our treasurer and sock hop chairman, April Heddleston, our secretary, Maggie and Kenny Rogers, the playground producers, and Deborah Flinchum, the person who got RCES back in the news,” Mrs. Andreoni continued.
