Rodney Grimsley and Dexter Freeman will represent Rappahannock County at the American Legion Boys’ State program to be held at Lynchburg College in Lynchburg from June 15-21. The program is sponsored by the American Legion, Department of Virginia, in cooperation with various clubs and organizations in the commonwealth.
Boys’ State is a unique summer program that emphasizes not classroom lectures or textbook learning, but participation and personal experience in a model state, complete with governing bodies and elected public officials.
