New Market-Sperryville Turnpike.

“Sperryville used to be a commercial village, with hotels and stables,” explained Charles (who is better known as Pete) Estes.

The Estes have been buying antiques for years and decided that opening an antique store was a good idea.

The building which they are renovating used to be the Sperryville

Blacksmith Shop and was owned and operated by John Hopkins in the 1800s.

Eric Kvames of Molten Media Glass Works will also be at the grand

opening. He will set up his portable glass oven and will demonstrate his glass blowing technique.
