1 c. sugar 2 T. cornstarch 1 carton whipping cream (or) 1 carton whipped topping 2 tsp. powdered sugar
In a blender, combine IV2 c. fresh strawberries with the sugar and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Cool in refrigerator until mixture is cold. Combine remaining strawberries with sauce, using care not to bruise or crush berries. Fold into cool, baked piecrust. Top with whipped topping or beat cream with 2 tsp. powdered sugar until thickened and cover strawberries. Garnish top with fresh strawberries.
