Mrs. Ethel Pullen was honored with a surprise birthday party given by her children at the Flint HiU fire hall on Saturday, April 11.
Approximately 150 attended the event including Mrs. Pullen’s children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
A lovely cake was baked by Mrs. Charlotte Turnmeyer.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Women will meet on Monday, April 20 at the home of Mrs. Emory Russell at 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Michael Vest of Virginia Beach spent Tuesday to Thursday with his mother, Mrs. Christine Vest. On Wednesday Michael Vest and Grady Vest motored to Harrisonburg to attend the car sales there.
