Trooper Baines said that Misa Hirota, of Vienna, was driving a 1983 Subaru west on Rt. 211 when she lost control of the car. It left the road and overturned, pinning Miss Hirota under the car.

She was extricated by rescue personnel from the Amissville Fire Department. She received severe head and internal injuries. Two other occupants were transported to Fauquier Hospital by the Amissville Rescue Squad. A fourth individual was not injured.

Trooper Baines said that his investigation indicated that Miss Hirota was attempting to fasten her seat belt when the accident occurred.
