To be eligible, potential candidates for the model assembly must be 60 years of age or older as of May 1, 1987, and must be a resident and registered voter in the county they wish to represent.
One delegate will be elected to represent each county and city in the state. All Virginians over age 60 may vote in the elections. Ballots will be available from the Community Services Center after April 30.
