Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Yoder of Cumberland; six sons, Elwood Franklin Pullen Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona, Don M. Pullen of Orange, Ronald Hurtle Pullen of Baldwin, Mo., Gregory Kent Pullen of Boston, Gordon Ray Pullen of Crystal Beach, Fla. and Lawrence Wayne Pullen of Hanover, Pa.
Additional survivors include fours sisters, Mrs. Natt Clatterbuck of Culpeper, Mrs. Jimmy Litten of Lynchburg, Mrs. Myrtle Beasley of Knoxville, Tenn. and Mrs. Leslie Coley of California; four brothers, Jim Pullen of Fla., Edward and Homer Pullen, both of Charlottesville and Charles Pullen of Arlington; and 13 grandchildren.
Graveside services were held in Culpeper April 15, with the Rev. C. V. Shifflett officiating. Burial was in the Culpeper National Cemetery.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Robert Jordan
Robert “Boots” Jordan, 95, of Amissville, died April 12 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.
He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Annie B. Webb of Washington, D.C. and Mrs. Bessie Mae Jett of Huntly; two sons, Otis W. Jordan of Amissville and Whirley Thomas of Silver Spring, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Russell of Amber, Pa., Mrs. Roberta Hutchison and Mrs. Frances Miller, both of Philadelphia, Pa.; three brothers, Isaac Jordan and Willie Jordan, both of Amber and Edward Jordan of Petersburg; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 15 at the Macedonia Baptist Church, Flint Hill, with the Rev. James Price officiating. Burial was in the family section of the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
