NUGGETS OF TRUTH

EASTER MESSAGE From Family Worship Canter,

Washington, Va. HE’S ALIVE (luke 24:1-9)

How many times have you heard a preacher say on Easter morning; He is risen or He’s alive? How much did these words mean to you? If you are not saved, you might say, "how could He be alive, He died two thousand years ago.” Or, you might say, "I have never seen or heard Him, I'll believe it when I see it.” Can you blame them? No. Have they ever seen or heard Jesus through you? Romans 6:4 says, “Therefore we, (bom again Christians) were buried with Him through baptism unto death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."

The only Bible most sinners will ever read is you and me and if they are going to see Jesus, it will have to be through us Christians. But, many saved people will go to church on Easter morning and say, “that was good preaching". But

they will go home and live the same old life they have been living. But, friends, when we come to the place where we really believe He’s alive and alive in us, we will change. We will show the world that He really is alive, (read John 17:21-23). Romans 8:8-10 says, “So then those who are in the flesh cannot please

£God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, | he is not his." This to me is the Easter message; going about displaying the love, compassion and power of Jesus Christ.

As the Bible reads in James 122; »We must dQgfs 0f thg word and not hearers only, or we are deceiving ourselves.’’ John 14:12 tells us Jesus said he who believes in me the works that I do

he will do also, and greater works then these he will do, because I go to me Father, AND THE WORLD „ WILL KNOW HE’S ALIVE.
