near Sperryville resulted in a driver being charged with failure to maintain control of his vehicle. James 0. Johnson Jr., of Washington, was turning left onto Rt. 1001 from Rt. 211 east of Sperryville when he was struck from behind by a 1985 Dodge van, driven by Edward H. Chang, of Falls Church.
Trooper Baines estimated damage at $800 to each vehicle. Neither driver was injured. Mr. Chang was charged with failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
