Ms. Bruce said that the Rappahannock Recreation Authority is still looking for volunteers to help with the race. People are needed to serve as course marshals, work at the start and finish lines, and man the water stations. Anyone wishing information about the race, or wanting to volunteer, should call Ms. Bruce at 675-3621 (8:30-4:30) or Sandra Brown (987-8758, evenings) or come to the starting line at Catalytic Damper Corp., beside Settle’s Garage in Flint Hill, early Saturday morning. The race begins at 10 a.m.
