Members of the American Industrial Arts Students Association at Rappahannock County High School were the winners of nine trophies at the Northern Virginia Regional Technology Education competition.
Technology Education teachers Scott Currie and Ron Vickers said they were proud of the accomplishments of their students, who competed at the George Lynn Middle School in Woodbridge on Saturday, April 11.
Eleven RCHS industrial arts students joined junior and senior high students from a number of schools in Northern Virginia at the competition. The events included Mechanical Drawing Interpretation, Wood Material Processes, Metric 500 C02 Car Race, and a Safety Poster competition.
