Rev. and Mrs. Milton Switzer Sr. of Viewtown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 14 at the Amissville Baptist Church at a reception attended by 130 relatives and friends. The couple was married Feb. 13,1937, at Elkton, Md.
The celebration included a renewal of vows presided over by Bob Rooper of Griffinsburg Baptist Church.
Special music was provided by Herbie Myer of Pennsylvania, Ruth Bower of Illinois, Olive Springfield of Arizona, Robert Switzer of Culpeper, Gloria Switzer and Ronald Dodson of Viewtown, and sevenyear-old Michelle Switzer and Julie Hitt of Viewtown.
