James Elliott
James (Jack) Kelly Elliott, 59, of Front Royal, died April 21 at the Warren Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Elliott was bom May 2, 1927, in Culpeper, the son of the late James Oscar and Mary Bennett Elliott.
A veteran of Army service during World War II, he worked at the Avtex Plant for 44 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 829 of Front Royal and held a Fellowship degree from the Loyal Order of Moose.
Surviving are three sons, Michael Licklider of Front Royal, Kelly Elliott of Luray and Timmy Elliott of Leesburg, a daughter Debbie Ramey of Front Royal, and a grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted April 24 at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home, Front Royal, by the Rev. John K. Burke. Burial was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were William Beaty, Kevin Heater, Joe Magnone, Paul Hockman, Rufus McCoy and Eddie Henry.
Honorary pallbearers were members of Moose Lodge 829 of Front Royal.
Laura Peyton
Mrs. Laura Peyton, 93, of Harrisburg, Pa., died April 21.
She was the wife of the late Leonard Peyton of Rappahannock County.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph Peyton of Long Island, N.Y., and John Wilson of Harrisburg, Pa., and three daughters, Isabell Daniels of Rochester, N.Y., Mrs. Mary Lawson and Mrs. Lillie Carter of Harrisburg, Pa.
Funeral services were conducted April 25 at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville by Rev. Brownie Peyton. Burial was in the family section of the Shiloh Baptist Church cemetery.
Beulah Southard
Mrs. Beulah Elizabeth Southard, 62, of Lynchburg, formerly of Culpeper, (bed April 24 at Lynchburg General Hospital after a long illness.
She was a native of Rappahannock County and had lived in Culpeper for many years.
Survivors include her husband John L. Southard of True Blue, four daughters, Mrs. Mary Bailey of Culpeper, Mrs. Shirley Wilson of Lynchburg, Mrs. Betty Wright of
