vows exchanged
Miss Marian E. Freeman and Bernard E. Jett were united in marriage on Saturday, April 28, at the home of the bride in Front Royal. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. James Jackson.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Margaret Freeman of Washington and the late Jack Leroy Freeman. The groom is the son of Mrs. Bessie Jett of Huntly and the late Albert Jett.
Given in marriage by her uncle Robert Freeman of Washington, the bride wore a white dress with a matching corsage and a blue and white headpiece.
John Turner of Washington was best man.
Flower girls were Shannon and Stacy Freeman of Washington, Monica Jett and Kisha Pendleton of Huntly.
Following a short honeymoon the couple will reside in Front Royal.
