Miss Alice Walker, a student at Earlham College in Indiana, recently visited our village. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Matilda Walker, who taught for many years in Rappahannock County. Her father Dr. D. E. Walker, a professor at the University of Colorado, was also raised in this county.
