A 39-acre tract across Route 621 showed a quadruple increase in worth, going from $11,740 in 1981 to $46,900 under the new 100 percent fair market value assessment of 1982. Adjacent to that piece, 200 acres owned by Lane Industries likewise increased in value four times over.
Two small parcels belonging to Robert Maldoven abutting the landfill site also quadrupled in value. Mr. Maldoven’s larger parcel of 37 acres buffered from the landfill by a small lot showed a five times increase over its assessment worth in 1982.
