of Rappahannock County High School, now attending the University of Virginia, has been elected to Phi Eta Sigma, a national honor society for first year male students. Page is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett Jr., Washington, Va.
Paul Herrmann of Arlington bagged a 20-pound tom turkey Saturday, the first day of the gobbler hunting season which remains open through May 13. The bird was checked at Bradford’s Store, Flint Hill. According to Game Warden Irvin Kenyon, the turkey was shot near Huntly.
The Rappahannock Historical Society will meet Tuesday, May 16, at the court house in Washington, Va.
