Montpelier Estate is the former home of James and Dolley Madison. The estate was most recently owned by Marion DuPont Scott, a noted Virginia horsewoman. It is now a property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The house and grounds opened for public tours in March. House tours are not included with the festival ticket.
