Jenkins
Virgil Franklin (Buddy) Jenkins, 60, of Luray, died April 23 at Page Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 12, 1926, in Page County, a son of Esther May Campbell Jenkins and the late Howard Clarence Jenkins.
Mr. Jenkins was a retired Luray barbershop owner. He served in the Navy during World War II.
On March 27, 1962, he married Betty Ann Cave, who survives.
Surviving, besides his wife, are three sons, Virgil F. Jenkins Jr. of Alexandria, Walter Wood Jenkins of Rileyville and Timothy Michael Jenkins of Norfolk, five daughters, Judy E. Smith and Peggy /Gin Jenkins, Luray, Sandra J. Morris of Front Royal, Twilight M. Stroupe of Stanley and Sheila Alger of Rileyville, and 17 grandchildren.
He also leaves eight brothers, Harold C., George K., Robert W., Howard J., Joseph L., Glenn L., and Melvin E. Jenkins, all of Luray, and Elwood D. Jenkins of Sperryville, and two sisters, Edith Lillard of Luray and Virginia Richards of Stanley.
A funeral was conducted April 26 at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles Clinedinst and the Rev. Albert King. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Jonas Pullen
Jonas Smith Pullen, 68, of Amissville, died May 1 at the Fauquier Hospital.
He was a farmer at Rokeby Farms in Middleburg.
