tested had some vision deficiency, and 78 were referred for consultation.
Lions Club members (13), their wives and other volunteers (10), worked a total of 167 man-hours on the project.
A member of the project committee will be checking with the schools in about a month to determine whether students who were referred to specialists have in fact been examined. Results will be kept confidential.
